TEXAS HOLD'EM IN FURUMACHI, NIIGATA
POKER ROOM CHONMAGE is a bright, relaxed poker room in Furumachi, in the center of Niigata City. International guests, beginners and solo visitors are all welcome, and you are free to come in just to look around first.
International guests welcome
Visitors from overseas and foreign residents of Niigata are welcome at CHONMAGE. Staff can show you around and explain how things work, so you can join a game even if you are new to the room.
Amusement poker: no cash betting
CHONMAGE is an amusement poker room. There is no betting with money and nothing can be exchanged for cash. You pay a facility fee and play for the game itself.

The room has three tables in an open, white space, and staff are always there. You don't need to bring anything except money for the fee.
CHONMAGE is a partner store of GTO Wizard, the poker strategy training tool. You can use GTO Wizard for free on the iPad in the room to review your hands, and the owner, an experienced player, is happy to answer questions.
What's on today
We run freerolls, tournaments and ring games. Each day's schedule is posted on the homepage and on our X account, both in Japanese. Changes on the day are also announced on X.
If you can't make a tournament's registration in time, you can call ahead to have a seat held (called 置きバケ, okibake). The call deadline differs from the tournament's final registration time, so please check on X or with the shop.

Age policy
Guests under 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or have their consent, and can stay until 18:00. Staff will ask your age when you arrive.
